RoboCtrl is a web control interface for robots. It features real-time video streaming using Flash, web browser control and chat interface utilizing AJAX and queuing system for multiple users. Multiple cameras are supported. It runs on any platform supporting Flash and JavaScript. The server-side part runs on a PHP web server.
RoboCtrl system consists of three parts: home computer streaming the video, web server with PHP (most shared web hosts will do) and web interface featuring AJAX running on client computers. The goals were to utilize very common and affordable technologies but at the same time give near real-time robot control using regular home broadband connections at both client and robot sides.
